Extra fun for 'Día del niño'
At the kids club at church (awana's) and for sunday school this past week, we had special programs to celebrate Children's Day (June 1st). It involved circus tricks (my juggling act was something to behold really), food and songs where you have to stick out your tongue and turn around like a penguin.

Hi! My husband and I (and our 3 children) are considering a move to Ecuador within the next 2 years and we have recently discovered Loja. We're really hoping to find somewhere that we could go to church that might be similar to where we go here in the U.S.(we currently attend a full gospel church) and we would also love to help serve in the community. Also, how is Loja as far as crime is concerned? At first we were looking at Cuenca, but it seems that the crime is getting worse there and I need to feel like I can go out of my house alone without getting attacked or robbed! Any information you could give me would be very much appreciated!
